Refund & Return Policy

Our straightforward return and refund process for auto parts purchased through USAutoPartSource.

At USAutoPartSource, we stand behind the quality of our parts and want you to shop with confidence. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a straightforward return and refund process, subject to the terms below.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds

To qualify for a return or refund, the item must meet all of the following conditions:

Return Window: Items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
Condition: The part must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging with all labels, manuals, and accessories.
Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required.
Authorized Returns: Returns must be approved before shipping. Contact our support team to initiate a return and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

We do not accept returns or issue refunds for the following items:

Electrical & Electronic Parts: Sensors, alternators, starters, ECU modules, wiring harnesses, and similar items, due to the risk of installation damage or improper diagnosis.
Special Order / Custom Parts: Items ordered specifically for you or custom-made products.
Installed, Used, or Modified Parts: Any part that shows signs of installation, wear, modification, or damage.
Incomplete Returns: Parts without original packaging, missing components, or with missing/removed labels and serial numbers.
Hazardous Materials: Fluids, chemicals, batteries, and other regulated items once opened or used.

3. Return Process

Follow these steps to return an eligible item:

Step 1 – Contact Us: Email or call us with your order number, part number, and reason for return to request a return authorization.
Step 2 – Receive RMA: Once approved, we will issue an RMA number and return instructions. Returns without an RMA may be refused.
Step 3 – Pack the Item: Securely pack the part in its original packaging (or equivalent) to prevent damage in transit. Include the RMA number inside the package.
Step 4 – Ship the Item: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective item). We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service.
Step 5 – Inspection & Refund: Once we receive and inspect your item, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

4. Refund Policy

For approved returns, the following refund terms apply:

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.).
Processing Time: After approval, refunds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Restocking Fee: A restocking fee of 10–25% may apply for non-defective, eligible returns, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we sent the wrong item).

5. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:

Notify Us Quickly: Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, photos of the issue, and a brief description.
Resolution: We will provide a replacement, store credit, or full refund (including reasonable return shipping costs) once the issue is verified.
Do Not Install: Do not install a part you believe is defective or incorrect. Installed parts may not be eligible for return unless confirmed as a manufacturing defect by our team.

6. Order Cancellations

Orders can be canceled before they ship for a full refund.
Once an order has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. In this case, you must follow the return process after receiving the item.

7. Exchange Policy

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different part:

Return the original item (if eligible) following our return process.
Place a new order for the correct part on our website.

This approach ensures you receive your replacement as quickly as possible.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after the stated processing time:

Check your bank or card account again to confirm the refund has not posted.
Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times can vary.
If you've completed these steps and still have not received your refund, contact us at info@usautopartsource.com with your order number.
